Empowerment

Image
School Mission - Empowerment We agree to create an environment in which children are involved in their learning,  can ask questions, and thus gain a sense of empowerment. Independence This week we have really been encouraging the children to do things for themselves. This includes serving themselves at snack time, changing themselves for nap, putting on their own shoes and tidying up after themselves. These are all fundamental skills in promoting the children to become independent and forward thinking learners.  Please support us by encouraging your child to do these things for themselves at home. You can read more about promoting early childhood independence here . Maths This week we have started to create some of Christmas crafts. This has been a perfect opportunity to revise some of the work we did on shapes earlier in the term. We began by painting lollipop sticks and then used these to make triangles which will later become Christmas tree decorations...

It was lots of fun and the children looked so smart in their Thai clothes. Thanks to all the parents for the flower donations. Our celebrations would not be the same without your support. Be sure to check out all the photos, by scanning the QR code on display outside the classroom!
