IB Focus/School Vision/Mission The physical and virtual learning environments, facilities, resources and specialised equipment support the implementation of the programme.  In EY, we have just developed, resourced and opened out Outside Learning Environment. This space allows the children in inquire, investigate and experiment with different resources, materials and concepts that they might find difficult or not have the opportunity for, inside. In addition, EY is beginning the implement the use of technology more within our learning. IB Focus/School Vision/Mission The school demonstrates a commitment to transdisciplinary learning. Our Early Years programme, in particular, places high importance on developing the children's independence. Self-management, Social, Communication, Thinking and Research are the 5 transdisciplinary skills that are part of our IB PYP programme. These skills are invaluable to children as they grow and become active global citizens. Outside Learning This week we have been exploring our newly developed outside area. The children have loved the choice of resources they have to play with. We are making this outside area available to the children on a daily basis as part of our free-flow play. This means when they are not at specialist lessons, they can choose to play outside. Our outside play can sometimes be messy so please make sure to send enough spare clothes for your child.
