Parent Volunteers

A huge thanks to the parents who have given up some of their time in the afternoon to come and share their favourite stories with the children! This has been a wonderful opportunity for them to build that connection between school and home. This will continue into next week and we still have three slots available so if you are able to give up 15 minutes of your time and are interested in sharing a story, song or dance with the class, please sign up on the sheet posted on the Parent Notice Board. 



Maths

This week in maths the children have continued to work on making patterns. We have played some games on the computer and even made finger painting patterns! 


Student Choice

This week we have been working on our mark-making samples. The children have made excellent progress since they started back in August. 




Learner profile

We are still working on being Communicator-dons this week. You may start to notice your child coming home with a sticker which shows the learner profile they have displayed that day. Please encourage them to talk about why they got their sticker.


We are really encouraging the children to use their words in expressing themselves. Please support us by doing the same at home.
