SCHOOL WILL REOPEN FOR FACE TO FACE LEARNING ON MONDAY 1ST JUNE. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- CHILDREN MUST WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIME
- PRESCHOOL CHILDREN MUST BE COLLECTED BETWEEN 12 AND 1PM
- FACE TO FACE LEARNING WILL ONLY TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY 1, TUESDAY 2 AND THURSDAY 4 JUNE NEXT WEEK
- WEDNESDAY 3 JUNE IS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY
- FRIDAY 5 JUNE IS ONLINE LEARNING FROM HOME
- PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ONTO CAMPUS
- UNNECESSARY ADULTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO CLASSROOMS
- SPEAICLISTS WILL TEACH THEIR LESSONS REMOTELY
- SNACKS AND LUNCH WILL BE TAKEN IN THE CLASSROOM
- CHILDREN WILL NEED 2 SPARE CHANGES OF CLOTHES AS WE WILL BE OUTSIDE MORE OFTEN

Unit of Inquiry - Sharing the Planet

Central Idea: Life on Earth is reliant on the systems and cycles of nature

Current Line of Inquiry: Animals and the role they play

UOI Reflection
This week we have switched back to our Sharing the Planet Unit to close out the term. The children will learn about different animals, their babies and where they live.

Maths

This week - we have continued to work on our counting skills as we counted animals in groups and then matched the correct numeral to show how many were in each group.
Next week - we will continue to match the correct numeral to the amount of items in a group and simple addition.








Phonics

This week - we were beginning our body percussion unit and learning how to repeat a clapped beat.
Next week - we will continue to learn about body percussion and copying a beat.

Literacy

This week - we focused our energy on learning what will be new and different when we return to school next week. We learned about social distancing and how to play the umbrella game.


Thai

This week - the children have learned the letter ด เด็ก
Next week - the children will be learning the letter 




UOI

This week - we learned about jungle animals and how to draw an Elephant.
Next week - we will learn about endangered animals.
