Current Line of Inquiry: Objects from the past and how we used them

UOI Reflection
This week the children have been learning about changes over time. We have explored toys from the past, what they looked like, and how they work.

Maths

This week - we learned that numbers show how many objects are in a set and started to learn how to solve simple addition
Next week - there will be no maths lesson as we are on holiday on Monday - please keep practicing counting at home






Phonics

This week - we chose which instrument made the sounds we liked best from a selection
Next week - there will be no phonics lesson as we will be on holiday on Tuesday - please keep listening and talking about the sounds around you







Literacy

This week - the children listened to the story 'The Paper Dolls' and answered a question on Flip Grid

Next week - we will reflect on our year and talk about what we enjoyed and what we have learned




Thai

This week - the children have learned the letter ฒ ผู้เฒ่า
Next week - the children will be learning the letter ณ เณร





UOI

This week - we have drawn and asked questions about toys from the past

Next week - have a toy tea party to end our Where We Are in Place and Time Unit of Inquiry
