UOI Reflection
The summative assessments are now complete and the children should be proud of the progress they have made over the course of this Unit. They have worked on developing their understanding of the concepts of change, function and perspective in relation to using play and stories to express who they are as individuals and as a group. They have developed their social, communication and self-management skills through activities such as 'say my name', turn-taking games and listening to each other in 'show and tell'. 

Maths

This week in the children have continued with consolidation activities and have been playing Christmas shape matching games.





English/Phonics

We have continued to learn the song 5 Little Elves for our Christmas performance. The music is here, see if your child can remember the actions or even some of the words. We also had Mystery Reader on Monday. The children enjoyed listen to Ms Charlie read the story 'Peepo'. 

Inquiry Activities

This week our inquiry activities have included finding out about Christmas by making decorations, wrapping presents and mark making in 'snow' made from shaving foam and glitter!
