Maths

This week in maths, the children have continued to work on their recognition of 4 common 2D shapes through songs and activities. Next week we will begin sorting shapes. Have a look at what shapes you can find around your home. 

English/Phonics

We have continued to read The Three Little Pigs this week and have continued to learn the actions to help us remember the story. Please watch this video at home with your child and help them practice. 

We have also begun to look at the story of the Elves and the Shoemaker which will be our Christmas Story focus for the Christmas Event, Christmas Stories. We have begun to learn the song 5 Little Elves. See if your child can sing it for you. 

The children have also been developing their fine motor skills by using pinchy fingers to place stickers on a template. This activity also helps to develop hand-eye coordination.

This week the children have continued learning their alphabet letters. This week we have studied ข.ไข่.
