Maths

This week in maths we have learned about rectangles and have been learning to recognise rectangles using this song. Please practice at home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JP-ZhwrxzI&list=PLy7lVCqAQz8vnyy4L_AjvJHWeYiT61A8w&index=5&t=0s

English/Phonics

We have continued to read The Three Little Pigs this week and have continued to learn the actions to help us remember the story. Please watch this video at home with your child and help them practice.

We also had an unexpected visit from the wolf this week who blew down our houses of straw and sticks. The children used the clues to solve the mystery and then helped clean up all the mess!

The children then made wanted posters to warn the other classes about the wolf that is around school!

Thai

This week in Thai the children were learning the words for different fruits and vegetables.

International Mindedness/Student Choice (UOI)

This week the children celebrated Loy Krathong by making their own Krathongs. In our effort to be more environmentally aware, we then used the leftover corn sticks to create artwork.

The children also investigated the strongest material to make a house. We used straws, lollipop sticks and lego bricks to make houses and then used a fan to see if the wolf would be able to blow them down.
