TIMETABLE CHANGES: Due to providing double sessions for swimming throughout the school, Preschool's PE days have changed. We will now have PE on Monday and Thursday.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable and restful break. If you did anything special with your children, please add an observation to their Tapestry Learning Journal. If you need help with this, please speak to myself or Ms Dae.

Maths

This week in maths we are continuing to explore shapes. Our shape of the week has been a square and we have been using lots of different resources to make squares as well as learning a song about squares.
Help your child by practising drawing squares or looking for squares around your home. 

English/Phonics

For this UOI we will be studying the story of the 3 Little Pigs. Talk to your child about the story, read it together at home in Thai or English (or both!). Next week we will start to learn actions to help us remember the story and we will also learn a song. 




Thai

This week in Thai we have been recapping our manners such as wai when we greet the teacher. We have also been studying The 3 Little Pigs in Thai.

Learner Profile

This week we have been encouraging the children to be risk-takers and to play without so many toys in the classroom. Instead, we have been encouraging them to be creative and make things they can use to play from junk materials.








International Mindedness/Student Choice (UOI)

This week as part of our UOI the children decided they would like to use junk material to make a big bus.
